Louis J. Letterle
Chief Executive Officer & Treasurer
Louis is the owner and founder of Letterle & Associates, LLC. As Chief Executive Officer & Treasurer of the company, he ensures that the resources needed to complete each project are available and dedicated. Mr. Letterle achieves this by setting corporate priorities and committing experienced scientists and engineers to achieve those priorities. He is also responsible for providing the necessary funding to finance each project to eliminate delays and inconveniences to the client.
Prior to forming Letterle & Associates, LLC in 1998, Louis worked for several other environmental consulting firms in Western Pennsylvania, with responsibilities ranging from client and regulatory contact, budget management, and the preparation of proposals, work plans, and reports. Louis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology from Slippery Rock University and has completed some graduate studies in Environmental Management from Duquesne University.
David A. Gallogly, Esq.
President
David joined Letterle in April, 2009 after spending twenty years as an Environmental Attorney. He began his career in 1989 as Assistant Counsel with the PA Department of Environmental Resources and before moving to Letterle, managed environmental affairs for United Refining Company in Warren Pennsylvania. As President of Letterle, David is called upon to use his legal, administrative and management experience to keep the company focused and moving toward its strategic mission and goals. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Allegheny College and a Juris Doctorate from Vermont Law School; was appointed to the PA Storage Tank Advisory Committee and serves on the Board of the Pennsylvania Environmental Council. He is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and is a registered patent attorney.
George R. Hunzeker, P.G., L.R.S.
Vice President & Chief Technical Officer
George has over 23 years of professional experience in the environmental field. Prior to joining Letterle in September of 2002, George was a Senior Project Geologist at Environmental Strategies Corporation in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he managed investigations and remediation projects for clients in the petroleum, chemical manufacturing, material coatings and resins, and petrochemical industries. As Vice President & Chief Technical Officer at Letterle, George is responsible for the supervision of the technical staff; development of work breakdown structures and scopes of work; progress and budgetary tracking; and correspondence and meetings with clients and regulatory officials. George has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a Masters degree from Robert Morris University; is a Registered Professional Geologist (PG) in Pennsylvania and a Licensed Remediation Specialist (LRS) in West Virginia; and in January 2011 was elected to the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Council of Professional Geologists (PCPG).

Kenneth Dudash, P.E.
Senior Project Engineer
Kenneth has over 17 years of professional experience in the environmental consulting and remediation services industry. Prior to joining Letterle in 1998, Kenneth was an engineer for multiple companies where he designed and installed remediation systems throughout Pennsylvania, Michigan, and West Virginia. As Senior Project Engineer at Letterle, Kenneth is responsible for the design and installation of remediation systems using a variety of technologies including total phase extraction, bioremediation and oxygen injection. He develops procedures to be used for remedial pilot tests, prepares remedial pilot test reports, engineering design and specification packages, and remedial action plans. Kenneth holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from West Virginia University; is a Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Pennsylvania; and has maintained his OSHA 40 hour training certification.
Mark Valenty
Senior Project Manager
Mark has over 16 years of professional experience in the environmental consulting industry. Prior to joining Letterle in 1998, Mark was a Staff Geologist at Groundwater and Environmental Services, Inc. in the Western Pennsylvania office and his duties included various field activities, reporting, and interaction with regulatory agencies. As Senior Project Manager at Letterle, Mark is responsible for continuous and forward movement of an environmental project from inception through characterization, corrective action, and ultimately through regulatory closure; delegating staff assignments; and correspondence and meetings with clients and regulatory officials. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Slippery Rock University and has maintained his OSHA 40 hour training certification.
Timothy J. Kier
Project & Office Manager
Timothy has over 10 years of professional experience in the environmental consulting industry. Prior to joining Letterle in 2003, he was a Staff Specialist II at ENSR International, Inc. in Langhorne, Pennsylvania and his duties included soil and groundwater sampling, surface water sampling, free product recovery, Oxygen Releasing Compound injections, and interaction with regulatory agencies. As a Project & Office Manager at Letterle, Timothy is responsible for day-to-day activities of the office in Franklin, Pennsylvania. Those responsibilities include attending to personnel matters, administrative oversight and ensuring that projects continue to progress through characterization, corrective action, and ultimately through regulatory closure. Timothy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Susquehanna University and has maintained his OSHA 40 hour training certification.
Nathan P. Croasmun II, P.G.
Project Manager
Nate has been in the environmental consulting industry since 1997 and among other duties has prepared over 120 Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. He joined Letterle in 2006 as a Project Manager. Nate’s daily responsibilities include orchestrating all phases of site characterization and remedial activities; report, contract, and invoice reviewing; Task Manager management and coordination; and interaction and communication with state regulatory agencies, insurance representatives, land owners, clients, and subcontractors. Nate is also the Health and Safety Officer for Letterle and has maintained his OSHA 40 hour training certification. Nate is a PA Licensed Professional Geologist, holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Akron and a Bachelor of Science degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and is a proud veteran of the armed forces.
